Our workforce is not tech-savvy, does the app overwhelm them?
On the contrary. teamly is designed for frontline workers, not knowledge workers. The majority of our users are over 45, have no PC at work and use the app daily. We measure adoption rates of 85–95%, even in care and manufacturing.
What happens to the data currently in our WhatsApp groups?
Migration is part of our onboarding. Important content (plans, PDFs, FAQs) we move together into the knowledge base. WhatsApp groups can be turned off after a successful roll-out, staff typically follow within the first two weeks.
Can we introduce only individual modules or do we have to launch everything at once?
Modular introduction is the rule, not the exception. More than 70% of our customers start with two or three modules (typically: news, knowledge, scheduling). Add more any time at the click of a button, you only pay for activated modules.
How do we prevent staff from feeling constantly reachable?
Quiet hours, end-of-shift filters and per-user push settings are standard. Outside working hours nobody receives push, unless explicitly marked critical. The works council has a say in the configuration.
What does the works council say about an app reaching everyone?
We provide a works-council template that has been negotiated successfully with more than 100 German companies. Granular permissions, data minimisation, no behaviour or performance tracking, those are the three pillars every council agreement holds up against.
Personal smartphone, personal data plan, who pays?
teamly uses on average less than 30 MB per month, less than one WhatsApp voice message per day. Many customers also provide shared devices in break rooms or use the web app on a PC. A BYOD allowance (€5–10/month) is optional.
How much effort does content maintenance take for our HR or comms team?
On average 2–4 hours per week for companies under 500 employees. Standard workflows (schedule export, mandatory training, news posts) can be automated. AI assistants draft posts, auto-translate and suggest images.
What happens if we want to leave teamly later?
You receive a full data export (CSV, PDF, JSON), no extra fee. Minimum contract term 24 months, then automatic renewal for 12 months each, unless cancelled in writing 3 months before the end of the term. We bet you stay because teamly works, not because you are locked in.
Can we run different configurations per site or department?
Yes, of course. Multi-site is standard in the Enterprise plan: per site own news channels, schedules, meal plans, permissions. The backend keeps the overview, each site plans independently.
