Workplace from Meta
Workplace was most recently priced transparently at a fixed price per user per month. Since 1 June 2026, the product has been shut down; a contract with Meta is no longer possible.
Buy or rent
teamly does not publish a price list either. The quote is calculated individually based on the number of users and modules, either as a purchase or a rental. Contract term: 24-month minimum, then a 12-month renewal with 3 months notice. Your own branded app in the App Store is included in every package.

What decision-makers ask most often when comparing teamly and Workplace from Meta.
When exactly was Workplace from Meta shut down?
Meta announced the end on 14 May 2024. Workplace ran normally until 31 August 2025, and from 1 September 2025 to 31 May 2026 it was read-only with a data download. On 1 June 2026 it was permanently shut down and all data was deleted.
Our Workplace data is gone. What can we still bring over?
Since 1 June 2026, no export is possible anymore. If you downloaded a data package before the shutdown, we will check together which content (user lists, group structures, documents) can be brought into teamly. Without an export, we start fresh in a structured way, often the cleaner solution.
Why not just follow Meta's recommendation Workvivo?
Workvivo by Zoom was Meta's preferred migration partner and is a solid enterprise platform. But it remains a US corporate product (Zoom, CLOUD Act) without its own customer app in the store and without public prices, in the high five figures in US dollars per year according to industry sources. Anyone who wants data sovereignty in Germany and their own branded app is better off with teamly.
